We are big fans of Night to Shine, a special needs prom put on by the Tim Tebow Foundation. We’re pretty big fans of him too! If you ever get the chance to volunteer at one of these amazing events, do it. You can’t help but smile.

Night to Shine is an unforgettable night for children and adults with special needs to have an amazing prom experience. The Refinery Church in Goodyear is one of the hosts for this event and we have been graciously invited to be a part of it every year since 2014. Tim Tebow founded Night to Shine in 2010 and their mission statement is “to bring Faith, Hope and Love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need”. Every year that we’ve attended, it’s brightened our day too! Our Cows are pretty popular dance partners, and enjoy all the pampering that the event provides! We bring food, but walk away with more than we could ever give.
In February of this year, we had the privilege of attending Shine Thru, an adapted Night to Shine due to COVID. We’re no strangers to drive throughs, but this one was extra special. Cow joined crowds of cheering fans and paparazzi who greeted the guests and showered each participant with gifts and food including some of our favorites, Original Chicken Sandwiches and Waffle Chips! It was truly an amazing event and every participant, caregiver, volunteer or guardian was smiling the whole time.
